Cost
Free. No subscription, no paywall, no ads. An optional crypto tip jar, nothing more.

Nicholas De Leon — technology reporter and the project's sole developer. A sibling to his AI baseball project, Deep Dugout. Independent — not affiliated with FIFA, the FA, or any official body.

DIY grunge fanzine — Sub Pop / Nirvana circa 1990. Typography only, no photography.
Why it's called that
"Inference" reads two ways at once: the footballer's read of a through ball, and a machine-learning model's act of generating output. The zine is literally an inference, run every morning. Full story on the About page.
